Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada for the role of Bo. Silk was raised in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter an academic and Ilkay Silk, a prominent actor, director, producer, playwright and director of drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories include going to the play school and watching her mom work. Silk appeared as a little model in a commercial. The Bachelor in Arts was conferred to her by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto for her acting to improve, before moving after that, she relocated to Los Angeles California. She met her future husband, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's training located in Los Angeles in 2007. They got married in 2009 and married at a civil wedding ceremony in December of that year. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renew their vows during the Jewish celebration in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born May 2013and had a son called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's TV work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009 Silk was a part of the role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the season three finale. She announced the news to viewers in the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th that the series was returning to its production. Season Four debuted on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the same-sex couple on Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared them Top TV Couples of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk, as a result its prominence on social media has earned it a large internet following.
